A vaccination is the injection of a killed or weakened organism that produces immunity in your pet against that very organism. A vaccine is the product that carries that organism into your pet. Vaccines can be administered through needle injections, by mouth, or by aerosol. Vaccinations help protect your animals from known organisms that can bring harm or even death to your family pets. By vaccinating your pets, you are not only protecting them from these harmful organisms but you you are also helping to stop the spread of these diseases.

Dental cleaning is a very important part of your pet’s overall health, and dental problems can cause, or be caused by, other health problems. Your pet’s teeth and gums should be checked at least once a year by your veterinarian to check for early signs of a problem and to keep your pet’s mouth healthy. Veterinary dentistry includes the cleaning, adjustment, filing, extraction, or repair of your pets' teeth and all other aspects of oral health care.

We all need a little pampering every now and then and that includes our pets. Having a clean pet in your home is much better than the alternative but it is even more important for the health and longevity of your pet. Our animals like to roam and explore, while out on their daily journeys, they like to pick up hitchhikers. These parasites can be harmful to our furry friends and other members of our family. The easiest way to ensure that these unwanted guests do not become a bigger problem is to simply wash them away.

Our Story

Tomball Animal Hospital History

Tomball Animal was founded in 1971 by Dr. Tony Foltin because of his love for animals and the passion to help the neighbors in his community. While raising his family, Dr. Tony instilled this same passion, love, and dedication to the community and the pets that live there, into his daughter Jana. Dr. Jana Foltin Bruhn took over the practice in 2006.
