Meet the Team

  • Jana Foltin BruhnDr. JanaFoltin BruhnHi, I’m Dr. Jana. I have been a veterinarian for 19 years and proudly took over ownership of Tomball Animal Hospital in 2006. I have 2 children, 7 dogs, 4 cats, 1 horse, 1 mini-donkey, 2 potbelly pigs, 3 African tortoises and my significant other, Gabe, who is a retired Buffalo Bills NFL football player. When the practice was passed down from my father, Dr. Tony, I was most excited because I had found a job where I can bring my dogs to work with me! If I were to describe myself in three words, I would say that I am kind, analytical and easy going. When I am not at the hospital, you can find me outside playing with my dogs, watching movies, or enjoying Sushi and Habachi.
  • ElleElleHi, I’m Elle, the kennel manager at TAH. I have 1 dog, 2 goats and 2 cats. I am currently in high school and plan to study veterinary medicine in college, following in the footsteps of both my grandfather, Dr. Tony, and my mother and practice owner, Dr. Jana. Some of my hobbies include working and showing my goats in FFA. This year, I won first place in my class and Reserve Grand Champion of the entire show with my goat named Patricia. If you see me at the clinic, please stop and say hi! I love seeing you and your pets. If I am not at the clinic, you can most likely find me at the barn training, feeding and cleaning up after my goats.
  • Gloria FoltinGloriaFoltinHi, I’m Gloria, the office manager at TAH. I am happily married with kids, multiple pets and a beautiful farm. I enjoy gardening, raising cattle and being a workaholic. I am happiest when I can stay busy and see our wonderful clients that have been coming to TAH since my husband started the practice in 1971. I have been an employee of the clinic for 50 years. When I am not at the clinic, you can find me enjoying farm life at home or at sporting events and FFA shows for my grandchildren. I am a proud grandmother and great grandmother.
  • KatKatHi, I’m Kat, a veterinary technician at TAH. I just recently started here in 2022 but have been an emergency relief tech for the past six years. Although I do not have any pets of my own at home, I love interacting with clients and their pets at the clinic. My favorite hobbies outside of work are being outdoors, hiking, doing yoga and taking my grandson to the park. I would describe myself as caring, hard-working and loving, and my favorite foods are burgers with french fries. If you see me around the clinic, feel free to say hi and introduce yourself. I am happy to be a part of the team!
  • Dr. MurrayDr.MurrayHi, I’m Dr. Murray, an associate veterinarian at TAH. I do relief veterinary work for other hospitals in the area as well. I have been practicing veterinary medicine for 18 years and perform many advanced surgeries at the clinic. In my spare time, you can find me training or taking my Jack Russell terriers to agility and performance trials, riding horses or surfing. Here’s something you may not know about me! I make costumes for the Renaissance Festival. Before I became a veterinarian, I was supposed to go into the U.S. Navy. After a busy week of work at the hospital, I like taking walks in the woods, playing with my dogs and going to the lake.
  • CourtneyCourtneyHi, I’m Courtney, the lead veterinary technician at TAH. I have been here for the past 9 years and loving joking around with my coworkers. I would describe myself as fun, dedicated and compassionate. My favorite activities outside of work are spending time with my husband, son and dogs. I enjoy helping my coworkers learn and caring for the patients that come to our hospital. My main roles at TAH include preparing and assisting with surgeries, training new employees, running bloodwork for our patients and helping our veterinarians with appointments. I can’t wait to see you and your pet again soon!

At work, you can most likely find me bathing dogs in the kennel, covered in fur from head to toe.

If you meet me in person, you will learn that I am a happy, bubbly person who enjoys making pets look, smell and feel the best they can! If I could wear Astros gear every day, I would!
  • Martin & HankMartin & HankThe BrothersHi, we are The Brothers! We are stuck together like glue. If you come by the clinic, we like to cuddle and play up front together. Sometimes, we fight over our tennis ball, but we love each other so much!
  • CamiCamiCami GirlHi, I'm Cami! I am a loving, senior citizen here at TAH. I like coming to work with my mom and laying in her office with her. My birthday is the same day as Joey's birthday!
  • BeezleyBeezleyBeezHi, I'm Beezley! I may be small, but my roar is mighty! My favorite part of the morning is jumping in Dr. Jana's purse to come to work with her. I enjoy napping in Dr. Jana's office during the day. One of my secret talents includes escaping to leave presents for the technicians to find as we are getting ready to go home for the day.
  • CashCashCash MoneyHi, I'm Cash, aka Cash Money! I am a happy dog as long as I can stay in Dr. Jana's office with her and can carry my duck toy around.
  • RufusRufusBlockheadHi, I'm Rufus. I am the big, tough alpha male in the pack. My bark is loud, but I'm a big teddy bear at heart. My best friends are The Brothers. I enjoy going on runs outside with Gabe.
  • BluebellBluebellHi, I'm Bluebell. I am sweet with a little bit of a sassy side. I am a strong, independent dog and like to nap quietly in my mom's office. If the other dogs bother me, I will tell them who the boss lady is!
  • SpringerSpringerHi, I'm Springer. I found the TAH family and was brought in as one of the three clinic cats. My favorite activities include bathing my brother, Sammy, and climbing into boxes that I look like I cannot fit into.
  • SammySammyHi, I'm Sammy. I love to cuddle and give big hugs to my human friends at the clinic. But be careful! If I hug you, I may drool on your arm. I am the most affectionate cat at TAH.
  • ArleArleHi, I'm Arle. I am the clinic princess. My favorite places to hide are behind the pharmacy computer and in the cabinets in the breakroom. When I am not napping, I like to follow one of our technicians, Courtney, around the hospital while she works. When it comes time to eat, I will be ready and meowing loudly!
